Funding Opportunities for Life Science SMEs

Here life science companies (SMEs) can find links to the latest relevant calls for proposals from EUs Seventh Framework Programme, FP7 as well as from other funding opportunities. Life Science SMES will find that most of the relevant FP7 calls are published under the "Health" theme. Other highly relevant opportunities are the "Research for the benefit of SMEs" and "People" programmes.

FP7 is a huge research program and other opportunities for your SME may be hidden in the many work programmes. The latest round of FP7 Calls for proposals (Work programs for 2012) was released on 20 July 2011.

VINNOVA offers financial support  to SMEs during the application phase to EU-programmes. VINNOVA offers a maximum of 150 000 SEK for the application phase and a possibility to apply for an additional 25 000 SEK for the negotiation phase. For Swedish coordinators of any type who apply to large-scale integrating projects within FP7. VINNOVA offers a maximum of 200 000 SEK as financial support for the application phase and a possibility to apply for an additional 50 000 SEK for the negotiation phase. Contact  VINNOVA  no later than two months before the call closes.
