Professor Hans Sievertsson

Hans Sievertsson (b. 1941) is Professor and PhD in medicinal chemistry, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Uppsala, Sweden. His research has primarily been focussed on peptide- and protein hormones and he has published around 80 scientific papers..
Sievertsson has held a number of management positions, such as head of R&D at Kabi Vitrum AB, President of Nobel Kemi AB, Corporate Head of R&D at Kabi Pharmacia AB and Pharmacia AB. He has served on the Board of Directors on several Biotech companies as well as Venture Capital Funds. Altogether Sievertsson has more than 35 years of experiences from executive management and board positions in pharmaceutical- chemical- and biotech industries.
He is a Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), and The Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Mr. Peter Ehrenheim
CEO GE Healthcare Life Sciences
Mr. Peter Ehrenheim started his career in what is now GE Healthcare in 1983. He has held positions in R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing and Business Development, including a 3 year assignment as head of the PL Biochemicals site in Milwaukee. Since 1999 he's Head of Protein Separations and in 2004 he was also promoted to Vice President of GE Healthcare. Mr Ehrenheim is CEO of GE Healthcare Life Sciences since 2006.
Mr Per Samuelsson

Mr. Samuelsson is a partner of HealthCap, which he joined in 2000. Before that Mr. Samuelsson gained over 15 years of investment banking experience, mainly with Aros Securities in Sweden. In his most recent position with Aros Securities, as a Director in the firm's corporate finance department, he specialised in the areas of Merger Transactions, Initial Public Offerings and Equity Incentive Programs. Prior to this Mr. Samuelsson was head of Research, also at Aros Securities. Mr. Samuelsson received his M.Sc. in Engineering from the Institute of Technology in Linköping.
Dr. Hans Hultberg
Assoc. Professor, Head of External Relations Strategic Planning Business Development, AstraZeneca
Dr Hultberg began his career at Stockholm University as Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry. He later worked at KabiGen, the first true biotech company in Scandinavia, with a focus on bio-pharmaceuticals.
Dr Hultberg was recruited to Astra AB in 1993 as project coordinator focused on the CNS project portfolio. In 1996 he was appointed Corporate Bioscience Advisor to the Head of Pre-clinical Affairs. Dr. Hans Hultberg is currently the Head of Global Discovery Alliances at AstraZeneca with responsibility for all external research collaborations across Discovery with both biotech companies and academia. He has held this position since 2000.

Mrs Lindner has a MSc in Biochemical Engineering and an MBA. Mrs Lindner is also a Board Member of BioInvent International and a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Science.
Mr. Lars Adlersson

Mr. Lars Adlersson is a partner at pharma search & advice ab, a company providing the life science industry with recruitment services, strategic business advice and hands-on support in M&A processes. During 2003-2009, Lars served as CEO for Medivir AB (OMX: MVIR). Previously, he held a number of executive positions at Janssen Pharma and the Glaxo group, such as CEO for Sweden and Austria. He has also gained experience from a position as senior analyst at Handelsbanken Capital Markets.
Mr. Mats Berggren

Mr. Mats Berggren is the CEO of SwedenBIO since June 2008. He has played an important role in establishing SwedenBIO since the start in 2003 both as Project Manger and later Vice President. Prior to joining SwedenBIO in May 2003, he served as management consultant at the Swedish Trade Council in Germany. During his time there he performed assignments for Swedish companies in Germany and Europe in a broad range of industry sectors including Life Science. At the Swedish Trade Council he was responsible for the bioscience industry group at the German office. In addition to an MSc in agronomy, completed in Uppsala and Bonn, he holds experience from the Swedish Office for Science and Technology (STATT) at the Swedish Embassy in Germany.
